Serving both Guatemalan and International Students for more than 30 years, LIFE School is a non-profit English Immersion School. We are located in Panajachel, a small town on the shores of beautiful Lake Atitlan in the Highlands of Guatemala.
LIFE School prides itself on providing a multi-cultural education to our community. Of our 150+ students, around 50% come from an indigenous Mayan background, and over 50% of students receive financial support through sponsorships and our scholarship program.

LIFE School strives to provide a modern education focused on the whole student. We believe that education can and should be life-changing, as the access to knowledge and opportunities that we offer can have infinite positive consequences.
Making a difference
Over half of LIFE School students receive financial support to attend. One of these students is Juan David, a boy from Santa Cruz who travels across the lake every morning to go to school. Robert Muller LIFE School has always had as part of its Mission and Philosophy to support the community of Panajachel and the Lake Atitlan area. The central part of our outreach to the community is through providing scholarships to indigenous students from the area. As a not-for-profit school, we are backed by a California-based 501(c)3. In order to provide the best quality resources, facilities, and staff, we are regularly running fundraisers and looking for financial support.
Many of our students are on scholarship. In order to maintain and grow this program, we depend on external contributions. Any amount is of great use for us and is greatly appreciated. What helps our school the most is general and sustained contributions to our scholarship fund. Donations of this type allow us to continue to bring high-quality education and all of its opportunities to more students from the Lake Atitlan region. Tuition costs at LIFE school vary by age level, but the cost of a year at LIFE School in the primary levels is $2750. Although we certainly appreciate individual donors who are able to support a full scholarship, any sized donation helps us be able to maintain and grow our scholarships.
